Browsing the site
- No cookies, no tracking. The site doesn't use cookies, ads or tracking scripts, and doesn't build a profile of you.
- Stored in your own browser. Two small settings are saved in your browser's local storage, only on your device: your light/dark mode choice (
cs:theme) and the last cheat sheets you opened (cs:recent, shown under "Recently viewed"). They are never sent to us. You can remove them by clearing the site data in your browser. - Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We don't use this data to identify you.
The suggestion form
When you send a suggestion, we receive:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| What it's about (new sheet, missing shortcut, something outdated) | To handle your suggestion |
| The software or cheat sheet, and your message | To handle your suggestion |
| The page you came from | So we know which sheet you mean |
| Your email address, only if you fill it in | To answer you or tell you when it's added |
The form is sent as an email to our inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing; the inbox is hosted by Microsoft (Outlook.com). We use the information only to improve the cheat sheets and, if you left your email address, to reply to you. We never sell or share it, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
We delete suggestion emails once they're handled, and at the latest after 12 months.
The legal basis is your consent (you choose to send the form) and our legitimate interest in improving the site. Cloudflare and Microsoft may process this data outside the EU, under the safeguards they provide (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data we have about you, or object to its use: email suggest@cheatsheetlibrary.com. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
